On the friday of October 2nd, ACSS had it's first spirit day to start off the year. Everyone was told to wear blue and white, to represent our school's colours. Kids were also aloud to wear school jerseys and canucks! A few grade 12's handed out candy to the kids who dressed up.
Then during lunch, people piled into the main gym to watch participants getting parts of their bodies waxed. For different amounts of money we raised on the Terry Fox Run, certain people volunteered to wax their armpits or legs, or even shave their head. Mr. Steward had even dyed his hair pink for the occasion.
